As the new Rugby League season is just around the corner new jerseys and season tickets are getting bought. How will the new 2016 season go as the Super 8's was a success according to the RFL?
The New Season
The new season starts on the 7th of February 2016. Lot of fans are looking forward to the new season as am I. The new season consists of new players joining new clubs and players retiring as have Kevin Sinfield and Jamie Peacock from the Leeds Rhinos.
Castleford are set to have a cracking season this season after fitting into the Super 8's well as did the other 7 teams. Castleford have signed a lot of new players with Ryan Hampshire from Wigan joining and Joel Monaghan from the Warrington Wolves. Liam Finn and Ryan Bailey are amongst the players who have left the club.
Huddersfield are running riot in the pre-season friendlies and Jermaine McGillivary is set to have yet another magnificent season.
The Leeds Rhinos have recently lost two icons due to retirement from the Rugby League, but will they still have a good season? Zak Hardaker won player of the year last year, will he live up to the same expectations this season.
Wigan have got their player back in Sam Tomkins who played for the New Zealand Warriors in the NRL but didn't get on well even though he played well. Will Wigan have a good season?
The St. Helens are the strongest side now Leeds are down without Sinfield. St. Helens will be mostly battling with the Wolves and Wigan for the Super League Title. But the question is have the Saints got what it takes to be champions?
The Warrington Wolves AKA. The Wire have a good chance of being the team to beat. But after losing winger Monaghan to the Tigers have they still go the chance to be potential Super League Champions?
Hull FC and Hull KR should build their current rivalry stronger with good pre-season's behind them they should be looking for a cracking season but Hull FC are the better and stronger team out of the two Hull sides.
Catalans Dragons are looking for a good season as they do near enough every season. Will this season be their season? The Dragons are currently a French team with a Spanish name they still won't be looking for a English stadium in the near future.
The Salford Red Devils have lost out to star player Rangi Chase and three others to Leigh Centurions and that is a bad move for Salford if they want a good season. Will they finish in the top 8 to be within getting a chance to win the Title.
The Widnes Vikings face Wakefield away first of all and then host Leeds. Will Widnes fly high or will they stay at a low pursuit for the season?
The Wakefield Wildcats are hosting Widnes firstly and then take a trip to Castleford for the clash of long time rivals. In the previous friendly Wakefield fell to a 36-6 loss to the Tigers. Will the Wildcats get redemption or lose out once again?
The Super 8's
The Super 8s is back for a second season for teams to have the chance to win the Grand Final if the don't win the league. The Super 8's was a success last season as it was a fair way for any team to go on to the semi-finals and go to the final to be potential champions of the super league as one team obviously will be.
Selection of Best New Kits
Kits are the main attraction at the start of the new season so fans can see what teams have invested in and here are the kits, Home, Away and Alternate.
